Apache Pilot Video

A YouTube video put together the good guys/girls serving in Iraq.

For the more liberally-impaired, that would be the US, Iraqi and Coalition forces.

Hat Tip: Guidons

First Bat Wingaging

FYI:  Apache pilots are the real world equivalent to BSG Viper Pilots.

On the way to work this morning, I listened to an old CSNY song, "Find the Cost of Freedom".

Find the cost of freedom
Buried in the ground
Mother Earth will swallow you
Lay your body down

I have a son-in-law that is a Marine and it appears he will be heading to Iraq for his first tour. He's been married to my daughter for almost 2 years and they have a 7 month old baby (my first grandchild). Both kids just turned 21 in the past two months.

I have a cousin resting in Arlington Cemetery - I know full well the cost of freedom being paid for by the heroes in our armed forces.

"Cube-Root of 216?" for spam control?

Who the hell knows?

I was visiting the 8th Army Air Force Museum outside Savannah Georgia today and talked to one of the pilots who survived the bombing runs over Germany in WW2.

It's amazing the sacrifice for freedom that so many Americans have offered to protect us all.

Skye,

Thanks for all your kind words...although we don't call anyone "Hot Dog" or have any pilots around here as hot as Boomer/Athena or Starbuck. Too bad we can't show the really good stuff.

Cheers!
